Featured on Read Pinoy and Radyo Magasin 1278 AM: My March 2026 Radio Guestings
March 2026 was an exciting and memorable month in my journey as an independent author. Within just one week, I had the privilege of being featured on two radio programs that champion Filipino literature, promote reading, and support local authors.
These guestings gave me the opportunity to share my experiences as a writer, discuss my books, and connect with listeners who are passionate about storytelling and the literary arts. I am deeply grateful to the organizations and individuals who continue to create spaces where authors can be seen, heard, and appreciated.
Radio Guesting #1: Read Pinoy Guesting – March 11, 2026
My heartfelt thanks to the National Book Development Board (NBDB), Read Pinoy, and Sir Lowell Gene Alojado for inviting me to their radio program. Together with Ms JV Wong, we had fun conversing with sir Lowell and talking about our books.
As an indie author, opportunities like this are incredibly meaningful. The interview allowed me to talk about my writing journey, the inspiration behind my work, and the challenges and rewards of pursuing a passion for storytelling. It was an honor to share my experiences with listeners and to contribute to conversations that encourage reading and support Philippine literature.
I greatly appreciate the efforts of NBDB and Read Pinoy in providing a platform where Filipino authors can connect with readers and reach new audiences. Their commitment to promoting local books and writers helps strengthen the country’s literary community.
Radio Guesting #2: Radyo Magasin 1278 AM Guesting – March 18, 2026
A week later, I had another wonderful opportunity to appear on another teleradyo platform, this time on Radyo Magasin 1278 AM.
My sincere thanks to Ma’am Charmaine Cristobal and the entire Radyo Magasin team for inviting me to their program and for their warm hospitality.
It was a pleasure meeting Ma’am Charmaine and discussing books, writing, creativity, and the role of literature in inspiring and connecting people. Conversations like these remind me why I continue to write and share stories. They also highlight the importance of media platforms that support authors and encourage a love for reading.
I am grateful for the opportunity to introduce my work to the program’s listeners and to be part of meaningful discussions about books and the writing life.
Why These Guestings Matter
For independent authors, visibility is often one of the greatest challenges. Radio interviews and literary programs provide valuable opportunities to reach readers, share stories, and promote a culture that values books and learning.
These guestings are more than media appearances—they are reminders that Filipino authors have a growing community of readers, advocates, and organizations that believe in the power of literature.
I am honored to have been part of both programs and thankful for everyone who continues to support local authors and the Philippine publishing industry.
