This is Book 2 of Aquosvegna: The Water Kingdom Trilogy.
If the Trident is the world’s most powerful weapon, the Mother Crocus can power any weapon – of water and of land.
Whoever gets it will be able to energise and charge any object—inanimate or animated—and transform it into a powerful weapon.
Whoever gets it will be indestructible.
The race is on.
When the echo of Atlantica’s Queen goes missing—a dolphin—a series of events lead to a shocking discovery: the Trident they all knew is not what it is.
And so is the King who wields it.
“A great start to this trilogy. There is suspense, drama, danger, an evil witch, and lots of twists, and turns. I want to read the next book.”
PREQUEL TO AQUOSVEGNA: THE WATER KINGDOM
Dive into the underwater world and learn the origin story of how one timid, gullible water maiden turned into a vengeful, powerful witch.
“I loved this well written and developed storyline, it caught and kept my attention throughout the pages. The characters are great.”
I really enjoyed Cruz’s idea of science regulating everything, including love, for the Vaelteurians and Mavis’ struggle to break with that tradition. Cruz also interlaces a good thriller with the romance, blending both with fast paced and steamy description perfectly! This one’s perfect for both sci fi and romance lovers!JOSHUA GRANT
ABOUT MAYUMI CRUZ
I’m a Filipina author. I write in a variety of genres, mixing and blending them in my plots. Twists and turns, mayhem and mystery, kisses and angst, laughter and tears make up most of my books.
At 50, I self-published my first book on Amazon. Four years, thirteen books and four anthologies later, I’m still at it.
So far, I must be doing something right because my psychological thriller, Chroma Hearts, was awarded 2019 Best Published Book, and I was recognised Third Best Published Author on the same year by Penmasters’ League Philippines. Chroma Hearts was also recently published worldwide on paperback and hardback by Ukiyoto Publishing, a traditional publisher.
I’m a true blue introvert; I write better than I talk. I’m a book and movie buff, and I have an extremely sweet tooth. I’m also a graphic design artist and I paint and draw whenever the mood strikes me.
I have degrees in Economics and Educational Management and I’m currently living in the Philippines with my husband, my three sons, and Sparky, our adorable puppy.
